Her Story

Jennifer is a full-time student at IUPUI majoring in Communication Studies and minoring in Environmental Health Science. Jennifer will be graduating in December of 2012. This semester, Jennifer is on academic leave from the produce department at Meijer to allow her to focus on the wedding. She is also the assistant coach on Summer's T-Ball team.

His Story

Evan is a full-time Graduate student at IUPUI majoring in Media Arts and Sciences. Evan also has a Bachelor of Science from the School of Informatics at IUPUI and currently works for McGraw-Hill developing elearning products. Evan will be finishing his Masters Degree at the School of Informatics in December of 2012. Besides working and going to school, Evan also plays rugby for the Indianapolis Impalas and helps coach Summer's soccer team.

Our Story

Jennifer and Evan met for the first time at Brownsburg High School. When Jennifer met Evan in their TV/Broadcasting class for the first time, she could not stand him. Evan can see why Jennifer didn't like him in high school.

My friend Corey and I were in several classes together, including TV Broadcasting. We would always joke around and talk trash to one another. Most of the time, this trash talking would expand to anyone around us. This didn't work well as our TV Broadcast class was very small and not everyone enjoyed our humor...

Jennifer and Evan didn't actually spend time together until after Evan had graduated from high school. They were eventually brought together by a mutual friend and their love for the now extinct Sci-Fi show Stargate SG-1. On April 19, 2006, Evan requested an upgrade from his status of "boy-thing" to that of "boyfriend." Jennifer and Evan were officially a couple.

Three and a half years later, on December 18, 2009 the pair had a rare night out alone, electing to enjoy some pizza at Bazbeaux Pizza on Mass Ave. followed by a walk downtown around the circle. It was there that Evan asked Jennifer to marry him. Needless to say, she said "Yes."

Since then, Evan, Jennifer, and Summer have moved in together in a townhouse in Carmel. In addition to planning the wedding, the pair are currently working on purchasing their first house.
